Stereopirate Sailing through life, one song at a time...

It seems like 2009 is the best year for music in a long time. 2008 wasn't bad, but it seemed to hold the break-out albums for a lot of bands. Well now 2009 has come, and now it seems to be the year of the defining moments in a lot of bands' careers. NPR has come to grips with this and has been priviledged enough to stream a lot of albums a week or so early. They just started streaming in its entirety, Bitte Orca, the newest album from Dirty Projectors. I have only recently started to listen to them in heavy rotation in my music, and I have become quite the fan. The new album is almost insane how creative the band has gotten with their music. I'm sure quite a few people will have heavy doubts for it, but many did on Merriwether Post Pavilion and Veckatimest too, so take it or leave it....Anyways, definitely check out the album and pick it up when it releases!
